Instruction for Oral Presentation

  1. The duration for the various presentations are as follows:
    • Keynote: 30 mins + 5 mins Q&A
    • Invited: 20 mins + 5 mins Q&A
    • Oral: 12 mins + 3 mins Q&A
  2. Presentation should be done using MS Office PowerPoint. A laptop with a projector will be available in all sessions. All presenters should save their presentation in a USB storage device in a format that can be read by PowerPoint 2007 on a Windows-based PC.
  3. Presenters should transfer their files to the provided laptop in the venue of their presentation as early as possible. Preferable times are during tea, lunch and inter-session breaks. A student volunteer will be available to assist the presenters.
  4. Presenters are requested to submit a short CV to the Session Chair at the beginning of the session. A standard form is available at the registration counter.

Instruction for Poster Presentation

  1. The poster should be in portrait layout and A1 size (594mm (W) x 841mm (H) / 23.3in (W) x 35in (H)).
  2. The poster boards will be setup by 9.00am on 18 October 2010
  3. Posters should be put up by noon 18 October 2010.
  4. The necessary mounting tools, e.g. Velcro tape, will be available on-site. Posters are to be put up according to the numbering on the poster panels (and also given in the conference programme).
  5. Authors should be present during the poster session to explain their study and to answer questions.
  6. Posters must be removed immediately after the poster session on 18 October 2010.
